For international students who graduate with an eligible qualification.
You must have applied for (and been granted) your FIRST Australian Student visa on or after 5 November 2011.
Before the day that you lodge your visa application, you must during the previous 6 months have completed one or more of the following qualifications at an educational institution in Australia, following at least 2 years of study:
NOTE: Concessions to this requirement may apply if you were outside of Australia between 1 February 2020 and 19 September 2020 due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, and you completed your Australian study (as above) in the previous 12 months before lodging the visa application. Online study may be counted towards meeting the Australian study requirement if you were impacted by COVID-19 travel restrictions while holding a student visa.
